BGBC : Cat's Eye

Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood
Reviewer quote: "the best book in a long time on female friendships"
I thought the settings, between Yukon territories and Toronto, illustrated the separateness the young girl feels. The characters were incredibly believable. I thought of others like them I have known.
I felt uncomfortable after enough mistreatment by Cordelia and the others, and was so glad when she finally walks away!

Post your own comments, here are some questions to help you get started:
What was unique about the setting and did it enhance or take away from the story?
Did the characters seem real? Could you relate? Did they remind you of yourself or anyone you know?
Did certain parts of the book make you uncomfortable? If so, why?
Did this lead to a new understanding/awareness of some aspect of your life you might not have thought about before?
