Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain
This was a fun testosterone filled romp through the back alleys of Haute Cuisine. Like having a smoke out back with one of the guys you work with (if you work in a kitchen). Having been a manager (a pizza place) of a kitchen, this was very true to my experience.
It was very much in contrast with the Atwood book.
Tell me, did you like the yin/yang of the suggestions?
